The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish source: is a fairy tale in verse by Alexander Pushkin, published 1835 . This tale I have read during my childhood and I really love this tale because of its message about how the greedy old woman lost everything she wish for. Also I enjoy reading it again for the last time. The characters involved in the story is the old fisherman, his wife, and the golden fish that the fisher man caught from the sea. I remember the book that I was reading when I was a little. The book has many illustrations about the story and it has reading text at the same time. The book was colorful and it lets me to imagine the story because of its illustrations. The story taught me on how contentment is important. Too much desires is not good at all. We can achieved wealth from our hardwork if we want to be. Desires are always there, it is a part of our lives but it doesn't mean being greedy is right or moral.
